Sales & Guest Services Agent - Year Round
Base Coordinator - Year Round Furano
Come and live Powder, Culture and Adventure with us in this year-round position in Japan that combines sales, guest services, and administrative work. We have positions open in both Furano for this role.
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about skiing/snowboarding and Japan, with excellent communication and multitasking skills.
During the winter season, you’ll oversee Whiteroom’s base operations in Furano. The non-winter period will involve assisting with sales, bookings, HR, and providing product knowledge to our guests.

Café Manager - Furano
Are you passionate about coffee, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and offering exceptional hospitality? If so, and you also happen to love Furano – Japan, then the Whiteroom Café & Bar might have your dream job!
This vibrant café, a favourite among both locals and tourists in Kitanomine/Furano – Hokkaido, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Café Manager to join their team for the upcoming summer season.
As the Café Manager, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring a successful summer season (June-August) and extending this success through fall and into our busy winter season.
This role requires experience and leadership, as you’ll be managing a small team of 1-4 casual staff. You’ll also need to be adaptable and independent, as you’ll work to build the summer café operation clientele.
Sales Consultants - Niseko
Combine your love of snow travel with sales and administration work throughout the year in a full time position based in Niseko.
A proven history in sales, clear passion for skiing and snowboarding, a love of all things Japan, lateral thinking and the ability to multitask well are all key elements for our consultants.
We are looking for a Sales Consultant with 2+ years of industry experience for this role.
Sales Assistant - NISEKO
This is a full-time job in Niseko, Japan, and perfect for someone who loves snow travel in a role that will split your time between sales and administration tasks throughout the year.
Our ideal candidate should be passionate about skiing/snowboarding, enjoys multitasking, and has excellent communication skills. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining our various online booking and tour systems including Google Suite.

Operating across multiple areas with unique and challenging terrain and conditions we are now recruiting guiding staff with the skills and personality to deliver exceptional customer experiences both on and off snow.
Ski School Coordinator - NISEKO
This seasonal role based in Niseko will see you take a leading role in overseeing our Niseko Ski School on snow operations. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for instruction, who can use their skillset to implement a training plan for Niseko instructors and be the first contact point for all instructors on a day to day basis for general operations.
Snowsport Instructors
Whiteroom is looking for qualified and experienced instructors to join our team for the upcoming season in our Niseko and Furano operations. (Min Level 2 and 3+ years experience)
guest services - NISEKO
Our Guest Services team are the linchpin that holds the many moving parts of our operation together. This heavily customer centric role will see our GS team often being the first point of contact for our clients coming whilst also being the administrative backbone that ensures the smooth running of our tour, guiding and instructional products.
Ski & Snowboard Technician - FURANO
We are seeking an experienced Ski Rental Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for backcountry skiing/splitboarding and a strong technical understanding of ski and snowboard equipment. They will have experience assisting customers select the best equipment for them as well as ensuring the equipment is set up correctly and safely.
OPERATIONS TEAM
The Operations Team is a multifaceted role responsible for client and staff transportation, assisting the rental team as well as the upkeep and maintenance of our properties and facilities. This job involves performing various maintenance tasks, clearing snow and gomi on a regular basis, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring the proper functioning and safety of our properties.

Half Note Bar Niseko
Half Note Bar & Restaurant is a Niseko institution and one of the most popular venues for locals and seasonaires to enjoy excellent Vietnamese street food, live music and plenty of special event nights. Located in central Hirafu Village, Half Note is a vibrant and busy venue operating from 3pm – Midnight 7 days a week during the winter season.
Full Note Niseko - Assistant
Pension Full Note is a Japanese-style bed and breakfast with all the comforts of a Western ski lodge, ideal for families, couples and those travelling alone.
Whiteroom is looking for competent staff with outstanding personalities, demonstrating excellent organisational skills, team work, customer service, industry knowledge, understanding of general housekeeping & food & beverage operations, general maintenance skills and ensuring fun and a quality experience for all.
Café Staff / Baristas - Furano
We’re known for delicious coffee, pastries, and a welcoming atmosphere catering to both locals and tourists.
Ideal candidates should be energetic, independent, and passionate about coffee, with basic food prep experience, fluency in English, and basic Japanese language skills.
